Terms and Conditions of Use

VAT-Invoice.mu is a service published by Maximilien Meyer, sole trader, BRN: I25012896, Mauritius.

Article 1 - Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Use govern access to and use of VAT-Invoice.mu, an online platform for creating and managing VAT invoices compliant with the requirements of the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA).

Article 2 - Access to the Service

Access to the service requires the creation of an account with a valid email address. The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activity carried out from their account. The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete any account without notice in the event of a breach of these Terms.

Article 3 - Plans and Billing

The service is offered in three plans: - Free: limited access, no commitment or payment required - Starter: Rs 990/month, billed monthly - Pro: Rs 2,490/month, billed monthly Prices may be updated with 30 days notice. Payments are processed by a third-party provider acting as Merchant of Record.

Article 4 - User Obligations

The user agrees to provide accurate information when creating their account and invoices, not to use the service for any illegal purpose and to be solely responsible for the tax compliance of their invoices with the relevant authorities, including the MRA.

Article 5 - Intellectual Property

The entire service (code, design, content) is the exclusive property of the Publisher. The user retains full ownership of their data (invoices, client information).

Article 6 - Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The Publisher does not guarantee the accuracy of the tax information generated, nor the acceptance of invoices produced by the MRA or any other competent authority. The user remains solely responsible for verifying the compliance of their invoices. In no event shall the Publisher's liability exceed the total amount paid by the user during the three (3) months preceding the incident.

Article 7 - Service Availability

The Publisher strives to ensure service availability but does not commit to any guaranteed service level (SLA). Interruptions for maintenance or technical incidents may occur without prior notice.

Article 8 - Amendments and Termination

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with 15 days notice by email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The Publisher reserves the right to discontinue the service with 30 days notice.

Article 9 - Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Mauritian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mauritius.
